The organisers of Cross Border Esport (CBE) have announced details regarding the qualifying stage for the next event.
Running from May to July, the qualifying process will begin with three open brackets, with the winners earning €1,000 (~$1,275) and spots in CBE's main tournament, while the runners-up will be moved to a closed stage.
In this closed qualifier, the three teams from the previous stage and five invitees will face off from August 3-5 for a qualifying spot at CBE and a €1,000 prize.

CBE has also revealed the details for the female tournament, kicking off online on August 11. The two finalists will face off at CBE for the title, with €3,350 (~$4,075) on the line, and will also get to compete at the event's main competition.
Cross Border Esport 2018 will run from September 3-9 in Sønderborg, Denmark, with eXtatus, Tricked and Sharks already part of the team list for the 95,000 DKK (~$15,500) competition after reaching the semi-finals of last year's edition.
